Since 1976, B & R Grinding, Inc. has specialized in the field of precision thread grinding for any type of molding core using non-conventional threads. We utilize the latest CNC technologies, with special emphasis on special thread leads on forms. We've worked with a variety of molding cores, including bubblers, collapsible cores, rotating cores, hand loaded cores, electrodes for EDM, worm gears, ball screws, and taps. We also manufacture all types of lead screws for any industry. Our highly trained team can machine forms on parts from 13 inches to .050 in diameter and 40 inches length. We also work with any sized collapsible core, ranging from miniseries to 702 CC+. These can be ground with precision and ease throughout the entire process.

We're experienced with any size DT and RT core and can help make sure that the cores are properly assembled for detailed grinding, precise OD, and accurate thread grinding. We can also grind between centers, in chuck, or via magnetic chuck. Any one of our services can also be reproduced on electrodes using ID burning or EDM, allowing us to provide extensive electrode grinding for ID molding threads.

We can also provide repair services that include welding and the restoration of damaged welded cores. Because of our many years of experience, we understand that in many cases repair work is time critical. For this reason, we offer an emergency service option that will get you back up and running quickly.
